Traveling through France in the days of kings and queens, you would rely upon the hospitality of the people living in castles scattered across the countryside. These were considered to be the first French restaurants and hotels. At La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro, we bring to you a beautiful example of these traditions in our modern-day establishment. When translated, La Chatelaine becomes “Lady of the Castle”. who was the spouse of the noble man in charge of a Province. From home made recipes handed down from generation to generation of the Wielezynski family, we are proud to offer you authentic, delicious foods that you will look forward to each and every time you visit.
As you step through the doors of La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro you will immediately notice the handcrafted woodwork all around you, inspired by owner Stan Wielezynski’s family manor, located in Normandy. The candles, fresh flowers and a crackling fireplace will transcend you to a more magical time and age.
We have fine pastries to match any palate. Fresh baked goods such as breads and a wide selection of croissants pulled from the oven morning, noon and night. We take great pride in our food using the finest quality ingredients, from the flours in our breads, to the fruits in our desserts.
We invite you to relax in our warm atmosphere for any meal of the day. We will be glad to see you there.
